The Get Well Soon World project run by Andrea Olsen and Elizabeth Zorina (both Y11) aims to spread awareness around many topics primarily in regards to the coronavirus, but also addresses world issues such as poverty, ecology and welfare. Daily posts on their Instagram account (@Get_Well_Soon_World) range from animal extinction, to the biochemistry of facemasks and to small pragmatic steps or good deeds everyone can do to “help the world get well again”.
Andrea and Elizabeth were among the first students to depart from school at the start of the pandemic and were placed into quarantine on arrival to their home country. It was this difficult situation which inspired them to create their campaign and after just a few weeks they started to gain momentum, with the account today reaching over 2000 followers.
Well done to Andrea and Elizabeth on your continued effort on this brilliant initiative.
