Sevenoaks saw the inaugural croquet ‘cuppers’ this week, featuring a highly proficient ensemble of Year 10 boys. After an unsettling start Samir Ismail and Euan Shaw seized a convincing victory, despite starting again having been pegged out a ball by their opponents, Renaud Bauné and Myles Denbow.
It was a delightful afternoon spent on Claridge House lawn under the charge of Mr Burnett and Mr Harris, who very much hope to cultivate the enjoyment of croquet.
