Thank you to all students, staff and parents who contributed to the recent charity collections of food, toiletries, clothing and bedding. Below is a summary of items received that we have counted, split and will deliver to the food bank and homeless charities in the coming days:
Food: 110 kg of pasta, 70kg rice, 130 jars of sauces, 104 packs of cereal, 68 packets of biscuits, 600 tins of soup/hot dogs etc.
Clothing: 41 blankets, 17 sleeping bags and duvets, 113 coats, 139 hats, 73 pairs of gloves, 94 pairs of socks, 90 pairs of trousers.
Toiletries: Over 60 toothbrushes, 50+ tubes of toothpaste, 80 bars of soap, 30 shower gels and so much more.
The charities we are supporting are Nightwatch, Sevenoaks Loaves and Fishes Food Bank, and Help the Homeless.
