On Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th October 2016, L6 and Y10 CCF Royal Navy Cadets enjoyed a field trip to Portsmouth, participating in team-building and leadership tasks ranging from archery and mountain-biking to initiative tests and orienteering. The L6 Cadets undertook a motor cruise to the Isle of Wight, learning navigation and seamanship skills and taking the helm on the return voyage. The Cadets spent the night on HMS Bristol, which gave them a fascinating insight into Navy life on a Destroyer.
