Earlier this month, Spruce Campbell (Y10) attended the Apple Worldwide Developers Conference in California after being awarded a scholarship in April.
Spruce attended the week-long event, participating in a variety of hands-on labs and in-depth talk sessions as well as having the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to discuss his new app with Apple CEO, Tim Cook. Spruce showcased an interactive simulation based on the movement of birds which he developed after being inspired by the migration of starlings.
Spruce been coding since the age of eight and was awarded the BAFTA Young Game Designers: Game Making Award (10-14 category) for his game CyberPNK in 2017.
