An introduction to Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurs approach challenges and tasks in a unique way — with an entrepreneurial mindset. The entrepreneurial mindset refers to attitudes, action and responsibility and includes an individual’s approach towards challenges, perseverance, sense of initiative, and the ability to make and cultivated. The school is focusing on developing skills and knowledge, and fostering an entrepreneurial mindset in our students, that will put them in the best position to face the ever-changing environment, enable them to take advantage of the huge array of opportunities that are opening up, and act in a responsible manner as they become the leaders of tomorrow.
What is Entrepreneurship Education?
Entrepreneurship education is the process of developing an entrepreneurial mindset and a set of skills in students, which encourage and enable them to turn ideas into action. It refers to the activities, content, and methods that make it desirable and feasible for students to initiate and participate in entrepreneurial value creating activities.
This is a key competence for all students, supporting personal development, active citizenship, social inclusion and employability. It is relevant along the lifelong learning process, in all disciplines of learning and to all forms of education and training.
