Sian Carr BA PGCE
Sian Carr was educated at Milford Haven Grammar School, University College London and the Institute of Education.
Sian was appointed to the Governing Body in 2012. A modern linguist, she taught at four London schools before becoming Head of The Sandon School in Chelmsford. Following her appointment as Director of the Eastern Leadership Centre, she was Operational Director at the National College for School Leadership in Nottingham. Passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people and believing that strong, positive and focused leadership at all levels is essential to success and improvement, Sian was appointed as Principal of the new Skinners' Kent Academy in 2009. She enjoys travelling for educational research and personal enjoyment and is renovating a house in France.
