Lord Colgrain

Lord (Alastair) Colgrain is the nominated Governor from the CP Johnson Trust.

Alastair was educated at Eton College and read English at Cambridge. He began his professional career in banking with J. Henry Schroder Wagg & Co and started his search career with The Welbeck Group Ltd in 1985. There he established and ran their financial services practice. This was taken over in 1991 by The Whitney Group, Europe, of which he became Managing Director, Chief Executive and Vice Chairman Europe. In 2002 he established Webster Partners Limited, his own consultancy company. Alastair was the High Sherriff of Kent in 2013/14. He has lived in Kent, near Sevenoaks, all his life and his interests include farming and the theatre. He is a Trustee of Rochester Cathedral and Chairman of the Trustees of the Belmont Estate near Faversham.
