Adele Eastman

Adele Eastman joined the governing body in 2023.

Adele is a Senior Counsel in Farrer & Co’s Safeguarding Unit. Adele is the charity sector lead for the Safeguarding Unit, and was a member of the DCMS led Domestic Charity Safeguarding Programme Group which oversaw the implementation of new safeguarding measures for domestic charities. Adele advises and provides training for schools, charities (from a UK and overseas perspective), and sports organisations and governing bodies, on a wide range of areas.

Adele has been a member of the Board of the CSJ since January 2017, and sits on the Advisory Panel of the charity IntoUniversity, in support of which she cycled from Land’s End to John O’Groats in September 2017. Adele was previously a Governor of an academy in London, and a Trustee of a grant-making charity.

Adele has a BA in Italian from University College London, and gained her legal qualifications from the College of Law, London.
