Our Director of Outreach, Graeme Lawrie, spent the morning at Seal Primary School this week with Year 5 students.
The students met NAO the robot, and then moved onto an hour of code with 14 levels of increasing complexity of coding within Minecraft. The students explored sequences, loops and ‘IF’ statements, and considered how programming is used to control electronic circuits in robotics and other applications. Every student left the session with an ‘Hour of Code’ Certificate’ for completing the ‘Minecraft’ tasks and challenges online.
