Congratulations to Isabelle Piper and Jenny Hack on their victory in the Year 10 French debating competition last night against Tonbridge School. The winning pair managed to beat all three Tonbridge teams convincingly.

Motions included: the ban of mobile phones in schools and the question of whether 'one can buy success'. Eloquent speeches supported by convincing facts and well researched quotes coupled with relentless and methodically targeted attacks on the opposition’s arguments saw them marching through to final victory. A truly impressive performance.
