Sevenoaks School is a co-educational day and boarding school for pupils aged 11-18. Founded in 1432, Sevenoaks provides academic excellence with a strong pastoral and co-curricular emphasis and a global dimension inspired by the International Baccalaureate.

Based in the market town of Sevenoaks, Kent, the school is only 30 minutes by train from Central London, and 30 minutes from Gatwick Airport. The 100-acre campus adjoins the beautiful Knole deer park and boasts excellent facilities, including a world-class performing arts centre with concert hall and theatre, and a superb sports centre.

Support Staff vacancies

Campaign Coordinator
A Campaign Coordinator is required to support the advancement of Sevenoaks School by providing the coordination of fundraising campaign activity. Closing date midday 7 November 2014. Job description.

Apprentice Electrician required to join our maintenance team. Full-time position including some Saturdays (around 12 per annum). The role includes a full day study release for an approved apprenticeship programme. The successful candidate will support the school electrician and is likely to be already studying an NVQ/C&G 2365 level 2 or 3 course. Job description.

Houseman
A Houseman is required to work in a school boarding house, being responsible to the Housemaster for minor repairs, maintenance and janitorial tasks. This position covers a wide range of duties and skills. The applicant should be able to work unsupervised and to plan work in terms of time and materials to maximize efficiency. The Houseman should ensure that good Health and Safety practice is followed at all times and should be discreet, with initiative and able to get on well with the other members of house staff.

Sports Centre Recreation Attendant (Training Duty Manager)
We are looking for a candidate who wishes to further themselves in the leisure industry and would like our guidance to enhance their skills to become a Duty Manager. The hours are 35 hours per week. This will include evenings and weekend and the position will be on a rotational pattern.
