Congratulations to our Upper Sixth students on an impressive range of offers from UK, US and international universities.

UK universities 

To date, our students have received an impressive total of 827 offers from UK universities: 70 offers from Exeter, 68 from Bath, 53 from Durham, 47 from Bristol, 47 from Nottingham, 46 from UCL, 40 from KCL, 37 from Edinburgh, 35 from Warwick and 29 from York. A total of 23 Sevenoaks students received offers from Oxford and Cambridge, with 13 students receiving an offer from Oxford and 10 receiving an offer from Cambridge.

International offers: US universities

US universities continue to be a popular choice, with 55 Sevenoaks students applying this year.

This year our students received 13 offers to Ivy League schools including at Brown, Columbia, Cornell, Dartmouth, Princeton and the University of Pennsylvania.

California remains a popular destination for our students thanks to its excellent universities and even better weather. Katherine Avanesov and Andrea Olsen have received offers to join an incoming class of just 235 students at CalTech; they were selected from an applicant pool of over 11,000 regular applications. Other offers received from California institutions include Stanford, Claremont McKenna, Pomona, Harvey Mudd, Santa Clara, USC, and the University of California (including UCLA, UC Berkeley and UC San Diego).

Offers were received from UC San Diego (7), UCLA (5), Columbia (4), University of Chicago (4), UC Davis (4), UC Irvine (4), UC Santa Cruz (4), USC (4),University of Washington (4), Brown (3), Duke (3), New York University (3), Northeastern (3), Purdue (3), Rice (3),University of Michigan (3), University of Virginia (3), Babson (2), Barnard (2), Case Western Reserve (2), CalTech (2), Claremont McKenna (2), Cornell (2), Dartmouth (2), Emory (2), Johns Hopkins (2), Northwestern (2), Stanford (2), UC Berkeley (2), Wesleyan (2), Boston College, Boston University, Carnegie Mellon, Colgate, Colorado College, Georgetown, Harvey Mudd, Loyola New Orleans, Middlebury, MIT, Pomona, Princeton, Santa Clara University, St. Lawrence University, Sewanee, The New School – Parsons, Tufts, Tulane, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, University of Illinois UC, UNC Chapel Hill, University of Florida, University of Iowa, University of Pittsburgh, University of San Francisco, University of Pennsylvania, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, and Williams.

Other international destinations

Internationally, offers have also been made to students for the World Bachelor in Business Degree (across Bocconi, the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology and the University of Southern California), from University of Toronto (13) McGill University (8), ETH Zurich (3), Bocconi (2), University of British Columbia (2), University of Hong Kong (2), Chinese University of Hong Kong, IMU in Malaysia for Medicine, Queen’s University, University of Waterloo, Western University, York University, University of Amsterdam, Maastricht University, the University of Groningen, ESCP Business School, Sciences Po – as well as the UCL/Sciences Po dual degree and the Sciences Po dual degree with Sydney University. Students await offers from Germany, Austria, Australia, Singapore, Ireland and Switzerland (St Gallen), as well as others with later release dates.
