The first few days in GIH

Only about a week ago I was still sitting in my room, thinking about how a new chapter in my life was about to begin.  Whilst I was wondering what GIH was going to be like, my head was full of thoughts and questions: Will I fit in? Will I find friends? With how many girls am I going to share a room? Two? Three? Four?

The answer to these questions is simple: I am having the time of my life!

I immediately got on with all the new GIH girls, and the Upper Sixth welcomed us with open arms, helping us in every possible way and really making us feel at home.

The first day was both exciting and exhausting; so much information was forced into our heads!  We thought it was going to be impossible to remember all the rules and facts... (It will probably take another few weeks until we fully get used to all the signing in and out business...)

But, on the whole, I, and I am sure all the other girls, feel so privileged to be part of the 'GIH Clan'.  We are looking forward to two inspiring years that will turn us into socially and academically competent young ladies!
