A party of 32 pupils spent 11 days playing cricket and netball on the Caribbean Island of St Lucia in July. School and club opponents were extremely competitive, so both A teams played to a high standard in winning most of their games. The climate was hot and humid, making playing both physically and mentally demanding. Charlie Farrant and Emily Elliott were the players of the tour.
The pupils enjoyed several excursions including zip-wiring in the rain forest, a street party in the Gros Islet, and finally a trip to the volcanic and spectacular south end of the island.
