Shooting team win national shields again

Congratulations to our shooting team who have won the NSRA Main and Junior National Roll of Marksmen Shields for the sixth and fifth year running.

The competition runs from January to December each year and the majority of this competition was completed before June 2014 in preparation for the closure of our old range for refurbishment.

2009 – 27 individuals: Club score 147

2010 – 31 individuals: Club score 175 (New national Record score); Junior Shield 82 (New national Record score)

2011 – 40 individuals: Club score 181; Junior Shield 114

2012 – 42 individuals: Club score 229 (3 Expert, 9 A class, 10 B Class, 8 C Class, 10 D Class, 1 Junior A, 2 Junior B); Junior Shield 120

2013 – 47 individuals: Club Score 258 ( 1 Master, 8 Expert, 3 A Class, 10 B Class, 11 C Class, 10 D Class, 2 Junior A, 2 Junior C); Junior Shield 128

2014 – 35 individuals: Club Score 201 (4 Expert, 6 A Class, 11 B Class, 9 C Class, 3 D Class, 1 Junior A, 1 Junior C); Junior Shield 97
