Twelve members of the shooting squad took part in the West Kent Rifle League Short Range Individual Championship. This is a postal competition where each competitor shoots three targets, total score out of 300 points. There are classes A to E and a Junior, Ladies and Pairs category in this nationwide competition. Just under 200 competitors were involved.

Fran Vernon was our outstanding champion finishing 5th in A class, 3rd in the Ladies and crushing anything Greshams could throw at us by winning the Junior category with a score of 294.

Tanay Modi (289)  finished joint 7th in B class, 5th in the Juniors

Sharon Chang (288) finished joint 4th in C class and 6th in the Ladies and Juniors. Sharon and Lisa Molodtsova (280) finished 2nd in the C class Pairs.

Charlie Soames (279) finished joint 7th in D class

Jess Hui (274) finished joint 5th in E class

Will White (273-6th in E class) and Leonard Taylor (268) finished 2nd in E class Pairs
