Sevenoaks had a really good run at Bisley. We had hoped to lead a winning team of eight shooters, but one dropped out so instead we entered a reserve, a pair and a four. There are three days of (largely individual) competitions before the main Ashburton day, and during these days Fran Danczak, Tabby Grainger and Benno Brenninkmeijer finished on many a prize list, there were over 550 cadets competing from around 60 schools.

The main shoot happened on Thursday 14 July, Ashburton Day and the results are below. Although we didn’t win the main team of eight event (when the Ashburton Challenge Shield is awarded) but we did win the Ashburton Challenge Trophy.
