SH Theatre trip to 'Yes, Prime Minister'

Before Half Term a select group of SH Y11 and 6th Form ventured forth to the Gielgud Theatre to indulge the nostalgia of the SH staff who fondly remember the BBC comedy series of 'Yes, Minister' and 'Yes, Prime Minister'.

The script was a tight now as then. Current political themes have been woven in although several old themes are still relevant today.  The versatile David Haig starred as the Prime Minister, Jim Hacker, and the civil servant role of Sir Humphrey was played by Henry Goodman. It was a thoroughly enjoyable evening for both generations and described by the U6 as the best and funniest production they had seen.
