On Saturday 2 April, a team of four Sevenoaks School students, Hugo Caven, Edward Haynes, Ben Moverley Smith and Tom Lord, took part in the National Final of the RSC's Top of the Bench Chemistry competition at Imperial College, London. Following both written and practical assessments, the team finished an excellent 4th out of 28 finalist schools, some of which had travelled from Belgium and Scotland.
