On Friday 18 May Sevenoaks hosted a Year 7 athletics competition against Kent College and New Beacon. Due to some track repairs, this was a shortened meeting, with the schools competing in 100m, 200m, hurdles, shot put, discus, javelin, and high, long and triple jump. It was a very close competition with Sevenoaks and New Beacon winning most of the events.

The scores were:
Sevenoaks       76
New Beacon    73
Kent College    59

Sevenoaks won the relay event, with the final result:
1st       Sevenoaks, 90
2nd      New Beacon, 81
3rd       Kent College, 69

Matthew Emmerson of Sevenoaks was outstanding, winning all his events. He also secured a win for the relay team making up 5m on the final leg.
