The Bough Beech RS Feva open meeting took place on Saturday 19 May. Despite very light winds four races were possible, with eight boats competing from Sevenoaks School, six from Tonbridge and one visiting boat from Hayling Island. The Sevenoaks sailors, all in Years 9 and 10, put in very strong performances: Ed Haynes and Dan Wilson winning the first three races, with Alice Kidd and Remi Pfister also sailing very well and consistently in the light airs to finish second overall.
Eight of the Sevenoaks sailors will be competing in the RS Feva Nationals in Torbay at half term, with 16 going to the World Championships in July.
