Sevenoaks hosted the finals of the Pro Corda Chamber Music Festival for Schools on Sunday 18 March. Our U14 piano trio, the U16 horn trio and the U19 string quartet all performed well, as did chamber groups from other schools.

Congratulations to the U16 horn trio (Samir Yep, Victoria McBride and Nina del Ser), who have been selected to perform in the Chamber Champions concert at the Wigmore Hall on 15 July. Our U19 (Lower Sixth) string quartet were invited to play at the Music Masters and Mistresses Association Conference in May. Sevenoaks also received an honourable mention in dispatches. Trinity School Croydon won the overall prize.
