Sevenoaks School's Golf team took second place at the annual Smarden Bell Tournament last week.
Following days of heavy rain which put the event in jeopardy, the team produced an excellent performance at Chart Hills Golf Club on Tuesday 1 May.
The tournament, featuring Sevenoaks, Tonbridge, Eastbourne College and King's Canterbury, celebrates its tenth anniversary this year and has become a highlight of the season for all the schools. The team of Mike Richards (who finished 4th in the individual competition), Dan Farraway, Harry Hobbs, George Baron and Kazuki Shaw all performed admirably to finish a deserved second place behind Tonbridge who celebrated their fourth win in a row.
