Sevenoaks School has won the Sevenoaks Invitational Futsal Competition for the second year. The competition has grown to incorporate seven schools including Tonbridge, King's Canterbury, Worth, Brighton College, Wellington College, St John’s Leatherhead and Sevenoaks. The level of play was excellent throughout the tournament as the teams demonstrated teamwork and individual flair to the delight of the spectators.

Sevenoaks won the inaugural event in 2010 and, in front of a jubilant home crowd, retained the trophy with a nail-biting final round of games to finish one point above runners-up Tonbridge.

Sevenoaks will be hosting the Kent U14 finals on Friday 12 February with the school’s U14 team qualifying as East Kent winners.

Futsal is a fast-paced version of football with non-stop goal mouth action, and requires skill, speed and agility.
