In July, 12 members of the Sennocke Consort visited Tuscany for the third successive summer, staying in Corsagna and giving a concert in the Oratorio San Angeli.
In a departure from simply focusing on choral singing, Alexander Ying and Alexander McBride took the role of conductor for three pieces. The repertoire, which ranged from 16th century unaccompanied English church music to 19th and 20th century masterpieces, was all learned on location and performed to an enthusiastic audience in temperatures of over 35°C.
