Founder's Day - 3 July

Saturday 3 July dawned with the promise of a lovely day and it delivered, the weather was perfect, full of sunshine and a gentle breeze that kept conditions comfortable.  A small group of OS was welcomed to Manor House where drinks were served.  Old friendships were renewed and new ones were forged.   The memorabilia on display jogged many happy memories, particularly of the visit of Prince Philip to the school in 1966.

Richard Gunner (Wordsworth 60) brought with him an article about the TS Foundroyant which many pupils at the school in the 1950's may remember if they were lucky enough to have spent a week on board during the Easter holidays.  Information about the ship can be found at www.hms-trincomalee.co.uk.

Founder's Day in 2011 will take place on Saturday 2 July and all OS are welcome to bring a picnic and share a drink.   We look forward to seeing you next year.

Central London Reunion - 11 June

On Friday 11 June 2010 The Cooperage Pub at London Bridge once again hosted the Central London Reunion.  This year saw a record turn out of OS from 1955 through to 2008.  The largest cohort was from the Class of 2003 as a note about the event had been posted on Facebook by one of the OS from that year.  Thank you Ben!

For many OS it was the first time they had attended a reunion and they enjoyed it immensely.  They hoped they wouldn't have to wait another year for the next one.

10th Reunion Dinner - 23 April

It was with great pleasure that members of the Class of 2000 were welcomed back to the school for their Tenth Reunion dinner on Friday 23 April.  This was the first time that many of them had returned to the school and provided a great opportunity to renew friendships and to meet up with some of their old teachers. Pre dinner drinks were taken in the spectacular surrounding of the Recital Room in the brand new Performing Arts Centre.  Following a welcome by Mike Bolton, the Undermaster, dinner was held in the Dining Hall where Katie de Wit replied to the welcome.  It was wonderful to see everyone chatting, laughing and enjoying themselves.
