A cocktail reception hosted by the Head, Mrs Katy Ricks was held at the Bacchus Boathouse in Singapore on Wednesday 17 November. Over fifty guests attended the event, including parents of current and former students, alumni and parents of students interested in joining the school at the start of the next academic year.

Mrs Ricks then went on to host a dinner in Kuala Lumpur at Level 7even restaurant at the Hilton Hotel on Monday 22 November. The dinner was attended by over forty guests and once again parents of current and former students were represented, along with alumni and parents of prospective students.

Guests at both events were welcomed by the Director of Development, Mr Michael Joyce before hearing about the school’s recent achievements and future plans from Mrs Ricks. The father of a current student, Mr Jeff Kehoe gave a response to Mrs Ricks' address in Singapore whilst in Kuala Lumpur this was undertaken by Mr Robert Cheong, the father of two former students and the Co-ordinator of the Friends of Sevenoaks School Association in Malaysia.
