Ameera Patel’s Extended Essay was awarded full marks and was subsequently selected to feature on an IB website of ’50 Excellent Extended Essays’ from schools around the world. This year 21 students are working on Extended Essays in Chemistry.

A group of Sixth Formers, studying the Modern Analytical Chemistry option as part of their IB course, accompanied by Mr Roger Woodward and Dr David Proctor, visited the Institute of Cancer Research, Sutton.
