Art Project

The photograph shows a group of teachers who visited Sevenoaks 23 to 28 November 2010 to work on a joint Comenius EU sponsored Art Project, and enjoy a local cultural tour, including dining at Tate Modern seen here. If funding is granted teachers and students from Finland, Iceland, the Netherlands, Germany, Romania and Bulgaria would also be involved in the project over two years.

Barcelona study trip

Sculpture by Oliver Barratt

A Private Viewing was held on Claridge House lawn for the opening of an exhibition of sculpture by Oliver Barratt on Tuesday 8 June 2010. It was attended by Lord Sackville and his family, the Head, past and present teachers and other artists. There was a fortunate break in the weather which allowed the event to be al fresco and extremely pleasant. The work will remain installed until the beginning of July.

Digital Imaging Studio Opening

Film Director and Old Sennockian Paul Greengrass opened Sevenoaks School’s new Digital Imaging Studio in the Visual Arts & Media Department on Wednesday 4 November at a lunchtime reception.
