A group of 14 students and two members of staff visited the SKSN School in Manaklao, Rajasthan during the Easter holiday. The trip started at the Taj Mahal and continued through Jaipur to Manaklao, where our pupils taught English and befriended the residents at the school.
This is the fourth time that Sevenoaks has visited SKSN, which provides free boarding education for a large number of boys and girls who have disabilities arising from the effects of polio, amputation and fire. The 2012 team raised funds, with each pupil responsible for raising at least £200 each, which we hope will help to refurbish the sports hall, provide internet access and projector facilities in the computer room and resurface the cricket pitch.
