In 2005, the school adopted a master plan that identified the major improvements and investment required over the next 20-25 years. Continual renewal and development is vital to ensure that facilities, teaching resources and access deliver the exceptional educational experience for which Sevenoaks School is renowned worldwide.
Sevenoaks is not a richly endowed school and to date, the following projects have only been made possible through the generous support of donors:

Sennocke Centre
The Sennocke Centre is a £7 million sports facility opened in March 2005 by double Olympic gold medal winner Dame Kelly Holmes. The Centre provides modern sporting facilities, including basketball, badminton, tennis and squash courts, a new swimming pool, climbing wall and fitness suite.

The Space
The new £13 million Performing Arts Centre (the Space) was completed in 2010, and provides outstanding music and drama facilities for our students. It contains a world-class concert hall for choral and orchestral performances, with an audience capacity of nearly 450.

Despite delivery of these amazing new facilities, the school continues to need investment in its learning and teaching environment. Current priorities are to double the number of bursary awards available for students with academic potential, redesign of ‘The Flat’ to provide safe, pedestrianised access to teaching rooms and improved vehicular access to the campus for parents and students as well as general renewal of teaching resources.
We would be happy to discuss any aspect of our priorities with you in more detail, please contact us if you would be interested in hearing more and helping us to achieve our ambitions.
