Performing Arts Centre reception in London

Performing Arts Centre reception in London

On 23 September a reception hosted by the Head, Mrs Katy Ricks was held on the 23rd floor of the Willis Building in Lime Street, London, EC3.  The building was designed by world-reknowned architect Norman Foster and the venue provided amazing views of London and beyond.  A parent of a current student secured the venue for use that evening.  The purpose of the reception was to promote the current project - the Peforming Arts Centre and thank those who have already supported the project.

Mrs Ricks welcomed the guests who included many donors to the Acorn Fund, parents, alumni and other friends of the school.  Also present were the architects, project managers and representatives of the contractor.  The Development Director, John Walton, described the Performing Arts Centre project and gave a presentation about the new building.  On display was a model of the Centre to a scale of 1:100 which attracted great interest.
