On Tuesday 31 January the Parents’ Association in partnership with the Higher Education Department at Sevenoaks arranged for some 65 professionals, mostly parents of current Sevenoaks pupils, to come and talk to Year 11 and Lower Sixth students informally about their careers and training.

The professions represented ranged from lawyers, diplomats, journalists and engineers to doctors, jewellers, surveyors and TV personalities. Highlights of the evening included a robotics presentation and a visit by our local MP Michael Fallon, who fielded many interesting questions about his parliamentary life.
