The 2011 Varsity Sailing Match was dominated by Old Sennockians. It involved an Oxford team entirely made up of OS sailors, competiting against a Cambridge team also entirely made up of Old Sennockians. The chief umpire was Bruce Hebbert, a former member of Sevenoaks School staff.

The Varsity Match is a series of three boat team races between Cambridge and Oxford mixed teams in three-man keel boats. In addition to the open match, there is a ladies' two-boat team racing match.

Oxford University won both Mixed and Ladies.
