  • Receptions in Singapore and Malaysia, November 2010

    A cocktail reception hosted by the Head, Mrs Katy Ricks was held at the Bacchus Boathouse in Singapore on Wednesday 17 November. Over fifty guests attended the event, including parents of current and former students, alumni and parents of students interested in joining the school at the start of the next academic year. Mrs Ricks then went on to host a dinner in Kuala Lumpur at Level 7even restaurant at the Hilton Hotel on Monday 22 November.

  • Friends of Sevenoaks School Association in New York

    On Thursday 5 August 2010 the USA East Coast association enjoyed a casual drinks reception hosted by Roshan Bharwaney at a bar in midtown Manhattan, New York.

  • Friends of Sevenoaks School Association in Hong Kong

    On 17 July 2010 the Hong Kong Friends association enjoyed their third summer reception organised by Ms Mabel Lau at The Helena May in Central, Hong Kong.

  • Friends of Sevenoaks School Association in Singapore

    On Wednesday 19 May Jon and Jan Gray hosted another very successful reception in their home in Singapore.  The event attracted parents of current students, members of the alumni and parents whose child is due to start at Sevenoaks in September.

  • Development Director visits The Oman, Kuala Lumpur and Singapore

    The Development Director has made two recent trips to meet parents of current students and parents of former students and members of the alumni.  A visit took place to the Oman followed by visits to Kuala Lumpur and Singapore....

  • A Lecture on John Frith, 5 July 2010

    On Monday 5 July 2010 at 11.30am in the Seminar Room, the Marley Hall, Brian Raynor (Mathematics department 1969-81) will give an illustrated public lecture on John Frith.  Born in 1503 and martyred on 4 July 1533, Frith was a student at Sevenoaks School.

    This lecture is being given under the umbrella of the Tyndale Society.

  • Performing Arts Centre inaugural concert

    The newly completed Performing Arts Centre was opened by Professor Barry Ife, the Principal of London's Guildhall School of Music and Drama, at the inaugural concert on Tuesday 27 April.  The building took 87 weeks to complete.  Donations, gifts-in-kind and other contributions raised a significant proportion of the £13m required to finance the project.

  • Performing Arts Centre completed

    The new Performing Arts Centre has been completed.  The building was handed over to the school by the contractor on Monday 19 April and a concert was held for parents and students on Thursday 22 April.  The main inaugural concert will be held on Tuesday 27 April.

  • Development Director visits Nigeria

    John Walton, the Development Director visited Lagos during the week 8 - 12 February 2010.  The purpose of his visit was to meet parents of current students and the parents of fomer students and members of the alumni to tell them about our plans.....

  • Performing Arts Centre reception in London

    On 23 September a reception hosted by the Head, Mrs Katy Ricks was held on the 23rd floor of the Willis Building in Lime Street, London, EC3
