On Thursday 8 June along with the rest of the country, our students made their vote in the school mock election. Students from the Sixth Form have been campaigning for their specific parties for past two weeks leading up to the election. Overall there was a clear win for Liberal Democrats with just over 39% of the vote. They also won the Upper, Middle and Lower School sections of the student vote. The Conservatives came in second place with 25% of the vote and The Green Party came in third with 13% overall. The Green Party also increased their vote by around 180% compared to the initial poll and the UKIP team had the most successful in-school campaign, increasing their vote to take 10%.
