Megan attended the championships as part of the Great Britain Women’s Sabre Team. There were five fencers in the team. She came 11th out of 27 in the individual event on Monday 13 February. In this U20 competition, many of the competitors were older than Megan. 

The team event was held on Thursday 16 February. There were seven teams of fencers from as far afield as Singapore, Australia and South Africa. Megan was a member of the England team, which had a bye through into the semi-finals, where they faced Singapore. After a tense match England won 45-42, going through to the final, where they fenced well, defeating India 45-29, and winning Junior Commonwealth Team gold medals.
