Monday 13 June 2011 – The Pamoja Hall

It is hard to believe that the Pamoja Hall has only been open for a year, such is the number, variety and quality of musical events that have happened within its walls already. In just one year, the enormous impact that the new resources and possibilities provided by the Space have had on the music at Sevenoaks is staggering.

Monday night’s Lower School Musicians’ Platform provided a snapshot of all these qualities, with an unprecedented number of performers in an entertainingly varied and diverse programme that reflected the huge talent and enthusiasm of our Lower School musicians. Some of these performers were taking their first steps as solo performers whilst others have already become key figures in ensembles and concerts in the short time they have been at the school. They were encouraged by a large, vocal and enthralled audience of parents, staff and a good proportion of the Lower School pupils, enjoying the opportunity to support their friends.
