Law trip to Cambridge

The Trinity Hall Law Open Day was the destination for ten Lower Sixth students curious to find out more about applying for Law at Cambridge. On Wednesday 21 March the group, led by Mrs Heydorn, toured a number of the 29 undergraduate colleges including Christ’s, Sidney Sussex, St John’s, Trinity, Gonville & Caius, King’s, Corpus Christi, St Catharine’s, Pembroke and Clare.

Trinity Hall was our final destination, where we enjoyed lunch in the dining hall followed by two talks, ‘What is Law?’ by Dr Lorand Bartels and ‘An introduction to Admissions’ by Dr Clare Jackson. Our students then took part in a mock court exercise, an interactive session led by current Trinity Hall students and Kristin van Zwieten, the John Collier Lecturer in Law.
