On the first weekend of term James took part in the Southwater Triathlon Relays. His team from Sevenoaks Triathlon Club won the junior section and finished 28th out of the total entry of 135 teams. Each team had three members, with each team member having to complete the course of a 400m open water lake swim, an 18km bike ride and a 4km run to finish.
