Sevenoaks School is celebrating its GCSE and IGCSE results. Just over 82% of the examinations taken by the 135 candidates were awarded A* or A grades. 16 students gained ten A*s or more each, and 87 students gained 9 or more A* or A grades. All but 36 results out of 1411 examinations were grade B or above.
All students took 3 separate IGCSE sciences and Maths. IGCSE is widely seen as a more challenging qualification than traditional GCSEs.
The Head, Mrs Katy Ricks, said, “We are once again thrilled by our students’ achievement. Their outstanding grades are a testimony to their hard work, enthusiasm and talent.”
- 51.6% of all examinations were graded A*
- 82.2% of all examinations were graded A or A*
- 16 students gained 10 or more A* grades
Please note: Sevenoaks School does not, on principle, participate in newspaper league tables.
