iDEA Competition Winners

Many congratulations to Daragh Massey, Birkaran Sachdev, Cedric Tan and Malcolm Briery on winning the ‘Inspiring Digital Enterprise award’ on Monday at St James’s Palace. Their company, ‘Yoma Education’, have developed an app which assists autistic children and their families with their daily routines and improves communication between teacher, student and parent. With the £15,000 prize money re-invested and in depth support from Barclays, Microsoft, Nominet, Apple and many other large companies the app will be further improved and sold online. With 731 teams competing for this prize, the competition consisted of several months of presentations, videos, business plans and other pitches. HRH The Duke of York presented the prizes alongside Ian Livingstone. Founder of the Games Workshop, as the chief judge for the day.
