Henry Wardley travelled to New Zealand with the USA Under 19 team on 1 January.  The team are competing in the U19 world cup in Queenstown.  They beat Papua New Guinea during the warm-up, lost to Australia on 16 January and to South Africa on 18 January, and also played against Ireland in the first round.  Henry was thrilled to be selected and to have this opportunity.  Following a sterling performance against Papua New Guinea he unfortunately had to miss games through injury.  The USA's final game in the tournament was against Afghanistan with Henry back to open the batting and his solid contribution helped to ensure victory for the USA.  He will return to his studies at McGill University in February.
