Football has a strong tradition at Sevenoaks School and is a very popular Lent term sport for Middle School and Senior School students. The school regularly has 13 football teams representing the school in the Lent term and a further 4 in the Junior School who play during the Michaelmas term.

The school competes in the a2om League at Senior, Under 16 and Under 15 level and also hosts the Sevenoaks School Futsal Tournament. There are also regular opportunities for boys to tour both at Under 14 and Senior level.

Sevenoaks School boasts nine football fields and also has the advantage of using the two astro turfs for training when required. Planned training sessions including specialist goalkeeping, set piece training and fitness training ensure the boys are well prepared and educated within the game. Futsal has been introduced into the sports programme to develop individual skills during the pre-season Michaelmas sessions.
