Entry at 13+

The closing date for applications to Year 9 in September 2013 has now passed. We welcome applications from students interested in joining Year 9 for entry in September 2014 and beyond.

For those candidates who have missed our application deadlines: while we cannot guarantee that we will be able to process late applications, we advise you to send a copy of the candidate's latest school reports and a covering letter outlining their strengths and interests, and we will keep the information on file.

We will contact you if we are able to proceed with an application at a future date.

For admission to Year 9 (13+) application should be made at least two years prior to entry for both day and boarding places. A confirmation deposit of £750 will be requested 18 months before entry; this will be refunded if a firm place is not offered.

Candidates taking our Year 9 Entrance Tests for entry in 2013 and beyond will now no longer be required to sit French and Science papers.

Pre-assessment day including a tour of the school, verbal and non-verbal reasoning tests and an interview
Early December 2012  Year 9 Entrance Examination decisions and CE preliminary decisions, subject to Entrance Examinations, are posted to parents and schools
 25-27 February 2013  Academic Scholarship Examinations
3-6 June 2013 Common Entrance Examinations
