For those candidates who have missed our application deadlines: while we cannot guarantee that we will be able to process late applications, we advise you to send a copy of the candidate's latest school reports and a covering letter outlining their strengths and interests, and we will keep the information on file.

For admission to Year 7 (11+) application should be made one year prior to entry. Admission is by competitive examination in Maths, English and Verbal Reasoning, interview and report from a candidate's previous school. Up to 80 children are admitted at this age, into four parallel forms. The entrance examination provides the written part of the scholarship assessment. Occasionally pupils may be admitted by special examination at 12+ into Year 8.
