Danny Caprice, member of the England Sevens Squad which hopes to bring back a medal from the Commonwealth Games this month, returned to Sevenoaks School on Friday 24 September to give some rugby coaching.
Danny, who studied the IB at Sevenoaks on a Findlay Sports Scholarship, 2006-8, ran a session for the current 1st XV squad. He put the squad through a number of challenging skills and drills. It was a great high tempo session and one which the players really enjoyed and benefited from.
The team has made a great start to the season and, of the three matches they have played so far, remain unbeaten, scoring an impressive 103 points. The squad now hope to take the tips and advice they received from the session into the next few games and throughout the season. It was a great experience for them to be coached by this up-and-coming England Sevens star. We wish Danny all the best and hope he brings a gold medal back with him.
