Coco and Igor at The Space

A audience of staff, parents and pupils enjoyed the showing of Deputy Head Chris Greenhalgh's film Coco Chanel and Igor Stravinsky on Monday 6 September. This was the school's first chance to see the film since its release this year and it was also our first opportunity to use the new state-of-the-art data projector donated by the Parents Association.

The evening began with a reception in the Recital Room followed by a short talk by Chris Greenhalgh about the film, for which he wrote the screenplay. The stylish, beautifully filmed piece is based on Dr Greenhalgh's novel about the (supposed) affair between Chanel and Stravinsky which took place following Stravinsky's exile from Russia in the 1920s.
