Alice and the Dreamtellers

Alice and the Dreamtellers, a play written by Jim Grant, was a powerful and emotional story about the fixing of a broken relationship between two sisters. It showed the damage of deceit and revenge and outlines how absurd an effect love can have upon a person's character and life.

Entering the Sackville Theatre the audience was met by a minimal set and the seating was arranged in traverse style so that the audience were only able to sit either to the right or the left of the stage. With the stage covered in sky blue and hazy clouds, as an audience member my interest was already captured and I was impatient for the play to begin...
